Our Merry Christmas Party

So we had our Christmas Party on Saturday. I can't believe after all that planning it was over so quickly. It was worth it though. We got to see family and friends and after all that is what Christmas is about. My dad had came in earlier that day and so he was able to make the party as well. All the kids had a good time making a mess and seeing Santa. I didn't think our house was small till I tried to fit thirty people in it. LOL See for yourself. Merry Christmas

Cameron is starting Hockey

Cameron is starting hockey in less than a month. He is so excited. We have been trying to get him in since before September but it just hasn't been the right time. I am also excited to be able to ware all of my winter clothes more. LOL We should start the first week in January. His birthday is in a few weeks so we are also thinking of having his birthday party there too. I will keep you updated on pictures and videos of the practices. I am sure it is going to be fun watching him learn to ice skate. Well till then.

Baby Fever

Last week we heard that Michael and Monica Longtin are having their 3rd baby. We are so excited. Now this means that Cameron and Landon will have 8 cousins so far. I say so far because Eric and Gretchen are also hoping to have another baby soon. And I am proud to say that one of my best friends here in AZ had just told me that she is expecting as well. I am so happy for them this will make their second child. And if this baby is half as cute and well behaved as Colten they will be so lucky. So I wish them all healthy babies and hope they can keep their sanity as their family grows. God knows they will need it. As for us no baby news just yet. And we hope to keep it that way.

Halloween with the boys

Halloween was wonderful this year. We went to dinner with Bernie & Nancy and then to Tom and Corissa's for there annual Halloween Block Party. Cameron had his School party/parade earlier in the day. He was Superman AGAIN! But what ever! If he doesn't care neither do we. Landon was a skunk. I know that I am his mother and very partial but he had to be the cutest skunk in the history of the world. We are all very busy so I am sorry it took this long to get the pictures up. In the future I will try to be more proactive. I know for some of you this is the only way to see what is happening with the kids,Brett and I.

Buscia & Memier's Visit Aug 07

Buscia & Meme came to visit this last week. It was wonderful. Cameron loved seeing them again. But took Landon a day to get used to them but once he did everyone had so much fun together. The week went fast. Many fun times at the store, park, splash pad and just sitting around the house. The week that they were here just happened to be grandparents day. Buscia went to school with Cameron for show-n-tell. They brought a map that buscia had worked on for over two years. It turned out beautiful. The map is amazing & HUGE. The map is a puzzle that has matching fabric to help the kids figure out where the pieces go. She added the capitals and the lots of other fun stuff. She plans on adding things to it every visit (state bird, flower things like that). After every visit I always say I wish I had taken more pictures. So here are the ones that I did take. I hope you enjoy!

The splash Pad

So handsome.
Cameron and Andrew running about doing God knows what.
Near our house is a park that has a water feature. It is so much fun. Cameron love to go there and I love to take him. (it gets his extra energy out) We had gone this week with all of our new friends. It is amazing I have met more wonderful people here in less than 3 months than I did in all 4 years in Gilbert. So I thought I would share the pictures for all to see.

The new house

The After
The Before

In June we bought a new house and we love it. Well that is everything besides the 8 legged critters. So I thought for those of you far away (Illinois & Colorado) That I would share the before and after pictures of the house. It is one room at a time but it is truly beginning to feel like home. I wish this was in person but at least you get to see how we are doing and living.

Cameron started preschool at the beginning of August. This picture was taken in the gym of the school. He loved it. His first day went great. We knew that it would because for registration and orientation he asked us "when we were going to leave him there by himself"? He has already made friends with a boy named Noah. They have a lot of fun together. His teacher Miss Melissa told us that Cameron is very helpful to the kids when they have problems with certain activities and was the BEST she had seen in cutting for his age needless to say we are very impressed with him. Cameron loves to learn and is constantly asking us how to say words in spanish so we are also looking into THE AMIGOS CLUB it is a spanish program that the school offers for the students. It starts in September so I will let you know how it goes. I love that he is so interested in learning so while he is we do not want to pass that up.
